Making a Dichroic Bead

Here's another little video - this one is about 8 minutes long - and shows making a dichro bead. LMK if it plays, is clear, etc. For this one, I went with brief subtitles, instead of a voice-over. Mostly, the target audience is people who know little or nothing about beadmaking - but maybe experienced beadmakers will enjoy it too.

  1. great video! I usually manage to end up with "burnt" dichro when I try to encase it. Guess I'll have to practice more. :)

    Hi Dwyn,
I really like your new video! I've always wondered how to do dichro. A couple of suggestions: moving the text in from different directions is distracting. I found myself looking away from the bead to either side of the screen. How about fading in? You might also leave the text on the screen a bit longer, so it will sink into thick skulls like mine! :0)
Thanks for taking the time to share this technique!!
